Having signed to White Star Records in late 2018 - and subsequently releasing their third studio album “Caught by the Machine” on February 22nd, 2019 - Reading rock sextet The Room are thrilled to confirm a run of UK tour dates taking place throughout November, with support from labelmates The Paradox Twin. Additionally, Voices From The Fuselage will join The Room and The Paradox Twin for their performance at London’s 229 venue on November 16th, 2019.

News of these dates comes shortly after The Room unveiled a generous helping of summer performances, including the band’s first-ever festival headline performance at Rockforce Festival in Blackpool and a return to Cambridge Rock Festival for a fourth year. This latest announcement of live dates will see the sextet take on a number of major cities including Leicester, Birmingham and London.

On announcing the news of these autumn dates, The Room comments:
“We started writing the new album about two years ago and so finally touring "Caught by the Machine" is  fantastic news. We are very much a live band, and so playing a load of venues we have never been to before is a fantastic opportunity to bring our music to brand new audiences. We are thrilled to have our label mates The Paradox Twin on board as our special guests for the tour; they did an amazing job when they opened for our album launch party”.

Joining The Room on these tour dates, labelmates The Paradox Twin’s “The Importance of Mr Bedlam” was released on June 29th, 2018, which includes the single “Planeta” - the video for which was nominated for Video Of The Year in the 2018 Progressive Music Awards.

“We have been knocked out by the reaction to our debut album, "The Importance of Mr Bedlam", so are looking forward to getting out and playing tracks from the album live”, says The Paradox Twin’s chief songwriter, Danny Sorrell.

The Room & Paradox Twin both signed to White Star Records in 2018, during a remarkable expansion from the label that saw the addition of a number of artists to their roster which already included Voices From The Fuselage.

Owner and co-founder Chris Hillman says this about the tour:
“We have some great artists on the White Star label that have produced some great albums. They are excellent live acts and we are really pleased to have tied up with the Event Horizon team who have a wealth of experience and who have organised these shows”.

Formed in 2010 by Andy Rowe along with Martin Wilson and Steve Anderson from neo-prog rock band Grey Lady Down, The Room never fail to deliver an outstanding performance - both in the studio and in a live environment. Nothing could stop the success of their 2012 debut album “Open Fire” and 2015 follow-up “Beyond the Gates”. These two studio releases saw the Southeastern sextet embark on a series of highly successful performances with the likes of Inglorious, Lifesigns and Soft Machine.

The band received a nomination for Best New Band at the 2016 Classic Rock Society awards, as well as partaking in a busy festival season, some headline shows, and even the release of a live performance at Wolverhampton’s The Robin 2 on DVD in 2017.

The band’s third studio album “Caught by the Machine”, was released on 22nd February 2019, marking their first release under White Star Records having signed to the label in 2018.
