Darkology announces new line-up for tour 2014

Killfest 14 poster
Darkology the Texas/Ohio Metal merchants, featuring the amazing Harris bros, Michael (Thought Chamber, Arch Rival, Leather VS Chastain) on guitar and Brian (Firewind, Solstice(US) etc.)  on drums respectively, along with internationally acclaimed vocalist Kelly Sundown Carpenter (Outworld, Beyond Twilight, Epysode, Firewind(touring), Iron Mask and many more...) and not forgetting incredible bassist Mike Neal (Medieval Steel, Salems Lot et.c) have a few announcements for you, in light of their upcoming Killfest ‘14, performances, throughout Europe with the Thrash titans Overkill, groove Masters Prong and the young but restless and wild, Enforcer!

Firstly, here are 2 full new songs “leaked” from the new album “Fated to Burn” that unfortunately got delayed, as well as some older “samples”.

You can listen to “Kill Me If You Can”, “Beyond the Grave” and “Fated to Burn” (long sample/premaster) below.

Also you can hear highlights from all the songs of the album here.

The new album will now be released in January 2015. In the meantime on tour you will be able to get the debut “Altered Reflections” on LP/CD! T-shirts, hats, beanies, even a tour program (!?) and a special Tour edition EP/CD specially commissioned for this tour that includes quite a few songs from the new album, (reflecting a probable set-list) which leaving quite “a bit”, to the imagination. It serves just an appetizer for the release of the full album and as a crash course in Darkology!

Further to that and because of scheduling conflicts and a variety of other issues the band had to make some line-up changes for the tour. They’ve even had the misfortune of receiving the news from Kelly that due to personal issues, he would be unable to join them for this run.

But how do you replace, a guy with such godly vocals?! Well, the band reached out to some of the best vocalists they could think of, including a handful of quite famous ones. There were several that were very gracious and they almost ended up agreeing to work with, but our roadie had heard an amazing singer on YouTube covering some Helloween and Judas Priest and they thought, what the hell, let’s try him out... once the band got his demos back, it was only a matter of just mailing him back to tell him to pack his bags and meet them in Barcelona for some practices!

Hear for yourselves really, a side by side comparison of some of the hardest, highest, most difficult to sing, songs from Darkology’s debut...

Original Violent Vertigo feat. Sundown and Violent Vertigo - re-sung 2014 Home Demo Recording.

Also original Nobot feat. Sundown and re-sung Home Demo of Nobot 2014.

Darkology would now like to announce that joining them on this tour as a vocalist would be this rather phenomenal vocalist, Eugent Bushpepa, who’s been very kind to step in and help them out of this quite messy situation. He’s been nothing but gracious so far and the band’s looking forward to offering with his aid, a show that you’ll not easily forget!

Also joining Darkology on bass duties will be J.T. Longoria, who’s previously played with (and produced) the legendary King Diamond and both Izzy Stradlin and Adler’s Appetite from Guns ‘N Roses. He also co-produced Darkology’s amazing debut, “Altered Reflections”, so he’s no “stranger” to the band. With the aid of these fine gentlemen, Darkology have prepared a really spectacular show that will be scorching. Hot Rockin’ Metal!

On the road of no return … we're all Fated to Burn...
