Evil Scarecrow part ways with guitarist Brother Pain and keyboardist Princess Luxury

Evil Scarecrow has parted ways with Brother Dimitri Pain (guitars) and Princess Luxury (keyboards).

The band stated:
“We are living in strange times and perhaps that is true more so than anywhere else at the ‘Crow’s nest. Evil Scarecrow have some big news to announce. Is it more important than the latest update about COVID-19, perhaps not, but it is pretty damn important to us.

They Despair to release new studio album “The Song of Desolation” on May 8th 2020

Rockshots Records announces their latest signing of Kiev, Ukraine’s Thy Despair for the release of their forthcoming album “The Song of Desolation”, due out on May 8th, 2020.

The dark metal band blends black, gothic, doom, symphonic and melodic death elements into their sound along with vocals being sung in both English and Ukrainian. Today they are sharing with fans the first single off the full length “Free One”.

Cradle Of Filth announce the departure of keyboardist Lindsay Schoolcraft

It is with a very heavy leaden heart that Cradle Of Filth must announce the mutual departure of keyboardist Lindsay Schoolcraft from amidst the band’s ranks. 

Lindsay has been with the band for the last 7 years and in that time has been privy to a massive resurgence both on record and live, with Cradle Of Filth undertaking some of the most prolific touring in the band’s 28-year history, a feat that has indelibly been both (ultimately) rewarding and understandably exhausting at the same time.

Debemur Morti Productions welcomes UK-based progressive black/doom metal outfit Lychgate to the label’s roster for the release of the band’s “Also Sprach Futura”.
 
“Also Sprach Futura” was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Greg Chandler of Esoteric at Priory Recording Studios (Esoteric, Fen), who also provides vocals to the album. The album’s cover art painting, illustrations, design, and layout were handled by Khaos Diktator Design.
