Dale Crover to release new solo album “Rat-A-Tat-Tat!” on January 15th 2021

Dale Crover, named one of the greatest drummers of all time by Rolling Stone and dubbed the “Thunder King” by Modern Drummer, returns with his sophomore solo album, “Rat-A-Tat-Tat!” on January 15th, 2021, via Joyful Noise Recordings.

Along with news of the 12-song album’s forthcoming release, Dale and Joyful Noise are giving fans an early listen, releasing the single “Tougher” - check it out below.

Clutch reveal “The Obelisk”, a special LP box set, for Record Store Day on October 24th 2020

US groove rockers Clutch have revealed details of “The Obelisk”, a special, limited edition box set to be released exclusively for the next Record Store Day on Saturday, October 24th, 2020.

“The Obelisk” is a box set that consists of all of Clutch’s Weathermaker Music vinyl releases. There are six double LPs, three 12" LPs, and three 12" picture discs all together in a beautifully designed box set.

South African sludge n roll riff merchants Ruff Majik have announced details for their Hullabaloo Urban Sessions live stream performance taking place on October 31st, at 6pm CET. The show will be hot on the heels of the 30th October release date for their highly anticipated new album “The Devil’s Cattle”, the first with new label Mongrel Records.

Witchrider to release new studio album “Electrical Storm” on November 13th 2020

Our favorite Austrians, Witchrider, are back, and strange as it may sound Arnold Schwarzenegger is not involved as far as we know. Of course the fact that Arnold was born in the same town as the guys in Witchrider obviously have had effect on the music that’s become true Grazian stoner rock. A version of stoner rock that may not be super heavy but it’s full of groovy tunes and melody.
