Epica and Apocalyptica announce Fall & Winter 2020 European co-headlining Tour

This fall Dutch Symphonic titans Epica and Finnish Cello masters Apocalyptica will join forces for the “Epic Apocalypse Tour”.

The tour comes in support of Epica’s upcoming album, which will be released later this year. Support on all dates will be provided by Helsinki prog metallers Wheel.
 

Star Insight releases lyric video for new single “Reaching for the Sky”

Finnish symphonic metal band Star Insight is back after six years. The band released their debut album “Messera” in 2014 and they are ready to release its successor “Across the Galaxy” later in 2020, via Inverse Records.

The second album contains eleven new tracks and the first single from the upcoming album is released today.

Nightwish release music video for first single “Noise”

When Finnish sextet Nightwish announce a new studio album people tend to take notice. They know that something special is brewing.

The band’s new and ninth record “Human. :II: Nature.” will be released on April 10th, 2020, and will be a double album containing 9 tracks on the main CD and one long track, divided into eight chapters on CD 2.

Today, the band releases the first single and video clip for the song “Noise”.

Let Us Prey release lyric video for new single “Above The Vaulted Sky”

The Boston-based dark melodic power thrash group Let Us Prey have signed with M-Theory Audio, which will release the group’s full-length debut, “Virtues of the Vicious”, this summer.

A lyric video for the album’s opening track, “Above The Vaulted Sky”, can be viewed below.

The song can also now be streamed or downloaded on Bandcamp.

Ross The Boss to release new studio album “Born of Fire” on March 6th 2020

One can’t talk about genre defining acts in the metal scene without mentioning one man: Ross “The Boss” Friedman has written music history as a founding member of Manowar and The Dictators. His influence in heavy metal and also punk is noticeable to this day. 

Manowar’s first six masterpieces, which saw him significantly involved in between 1982 and 1988 are immortal classics today, and that the band wasn’t able to deliver the same quality again after his departure speaks for the New York based guitarist and songwriter.

Dynazty to release new studio album “The Dark Delight” on April 3rd 2020

Formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2008, Dynazty has since released 6 albums in a mere 10 year window.

Straying from their early days of 80’s influenced hard rock, the band has developed and refined their sound into something that merges the modern metal scene with the past, crafting something wholly unique.
