Big Paul Ferguson to release first solo album “Virtual Control” on June 25th 2021

As a founding member and co-creative mind behind proto-industrial post-punk icons Killing Joke, Big Paul Ferguson has already earned his place among the most influential and highly regarded musicians of his era. Ferguson’s signature tribal drum style not only set Killing Joke apart from the scores of British bands coming up in the 80s, adding both depth and weight to the band’s piercing, discordant sound, but it also became a reference point for rock percussionists that followed in the band’s wake.

Uniform to release new studio album “Shame” on September 11th 2020

What if the antihero in your favourite film or book had no chance to repent, reconcile, or redeem himself? There’s no victim to rescue. There’s no evil to thwart. There’s no tyranny to turnover. Instead of saving the day against his better judgment, he just walks a Sisyphean circle of existential malaise doomed to repeat yesterday’s vices without the promise of a better tomorrow. Rather than tell this story on the screen or on the page, Uniform tell it on their fourth full-length album, “Shame”.

PORN

Hi Philippe (aka Mr Strangler) and welcome to Grande Rock. Well, it seems that the “Mr Strangler” trilogy has come to an end. How do you feel about it?

P: Happy and quite sad! It was a great adventure. 3 albums, 12 music videos, so many remixes by so many great bands: Stabbing Westward, Chris Vrenna from NIN, Orgy, Combichrist, Jimmy urine from Mindless Self indulgence, The Anix... A lot of amazing gigs!

PORN - No Monsters in God’s Eyes – Act III

“Act III” – the trilogy is over. What started with “The Ogre Inside”, about Mr Strangler, continued with “The Darkest of Human Desires” and concluded with “No Monsters in God’s Eyes” and Mr Strangler’s execution. This is a dark trilogy about Mr Strangler and his unspeakable acts and dark desires which express the “true-self” of a twisted mind… a “monster” if you like, but as the title suggests none is consider to be a monster in God’s eyes!
