My Dying Bride release official lyric video for new single “Tired of Tears”

British doom legends My Dying Bride are set to release their 13th studio album, “The Ghost of Orion”, on March 6th, 2020, via Nuclear Blast.

Today, the band have released a new single from the album titled “Tired of Tears”. Check out the new lyric video below.

The track has a particularly special meaning for frontman Aaron Stainthorpe, as he explains:

Evoken to release new studio album “Hypnagogia” on November 9th 2018

Legendary death/funeral doom legion Evoken will unleash their “Hypnagogia” full-length on November 9th, 2018, via Profound Lore Records.

Recorded, mixed and mastered at Sound Spa studios in New Jersey by Steven DeAcutis, the record comes swathed in the artwork of Adam Burke (Artificial Brain, Mos Generator, Hooded Menace) and marks the band's first new output in six long years.
 

Usnea announces September 2018 North American Tour

Portland doom quartet Usnea will kick off a North American tour this Fall.

Set to commence September 9th in Boston, Massachusetts and concludes September 21st in Washington D.C, the near two-week run includes two dates with Monolord, as well as a performance at Basilica Soundscape.

Barren Altar to release debut full-length album “Entrenched in the Faults of the Earth” on June 12th 2018

Bay Area blackened funeral doom collective Barren Altar will release their debut full-length next month.

Titled “Entrenched in the Faults of the Earth”, the morose offering was captured in the summer of 2017 with Greg Wilkinson (Graves At Sea, Necrot, Vastum) at Earhammer Studios in Oakland, California and delivers five tracks of sonic desolation.

Of the record's overall theme, the band offers: “It's a metaphysical plea for the voluntary end of all human life, pressed to plastic, and added to the ever-growing dumpster fire that is the modern world”.

Haunted to release new studio album “Dayburner” on June 8th 2018

The international doom promises Haunted finally announce details of the new high anticipated album.

The record, entitled “Dayburner”, will be released on June 8th, 2018, via Twin Earth Records.

The new chapter has been recorded by Carlo Longo at NuevArte Studio in Catania and mastered by the renowned producer Brad Boatright (Sleep, COC, Yob, Obituary, among others) at Audiosiege Engineering in Portland, Oregon.
