The Ocean to release new studio album “Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic” on September 25th 2020

On September 25th, 2020, The Ocean will release their 8th full-length, “Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic”, via Metal Blade Records (CD / digital) and the band’s own Pelagic Records (vinyl).

In 2018, The Ocean released “Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic” - the first half of a sprawling but superbly cohesive paleontology concept album. Now, the group is ready to release the eagerly-awaited concluding parts of the Phanerozoic journey.

Enslaved: vote now for “Cinematic Summer Tour” Roadburn show setlist

Last week, Enslaved announced their Cinematic Summer Tour - an innovative digital tour comprised of three online events, in conjunction with three of Europe’s leading festivals.

Today, the band are proud to reveal details for the first event: on July 30th in collaboration with Roadburn, the tour will launch with a unique “Chronicles Of The Northbound” show.

Dyscordia - Delete / Rewrite

Dyscordia are a Belgian bunch, who probably make a bit more fuss and do a bit more namedropping about themselves and their collaborations than what would seem logical and right. They’ve been going on for the better part of the past decade and in that time they’ve released another two albums preceded by an EP, all overseen by Jens Borgen (Opeth, Paradise Lost, Katatonia, etc.), supported bigger bands locally and performed at many smaller festivals.
 

Enslaved enter the studio to record new album - due out in May 2020

Norwegian metal avant-gardists Enslaved have some big news for their fans: the band have just entered the studio and are currently working on new material for their upcoming album. This new gem will be released once again via Nuclear Blast Records and has a tentative release date of May 2020.
