Pendragon - Love Over Fear

In 2018 Pendragon had their 40th year anniversary. Yeah, I know that the number 40 might seem too big but this band has been around since 1978 and has been true to their prog rock values all these years. Then again it’s been almost 6 years since their last studio album “Men Who Climb Mountains”, so the prog fans might have been wondering what’s been going on.

Pure Reason Revolution to release new studio album “Eupnea” on April 3rd 2020

Pure Reason Revolution recently announced the release of “Eupnea”, their first new studio album in nearly 10 years, for April 3rd, 2020.

Today they are excited to reveal the first piece of new music taken from the record, in the form of the epic 10-minute “Silent Genesis”, a track which Jon Courtney co-wrote alongside original PRR member Greg Jong.

Having spent the last few years touring the world, including dates in Japan with psych legend Steve Hillage, multiple headline European tours and festivals, America’s Cruise to the Edge festival, a South America headline tour and a headline performance at Tomorrow Festival in China, the band have won the hearts of both traditional and modern Gong fanbases. During this live journey, Gong have delved further into the truly psychedelic, exploratory and mind-expanding side of the music.

The Oneira to release new studio album “Injection” on March 13th 2020

Progressive rock act The Oneira unveils the first single “Still Free to Choose” taken from the upcoming new album “Injection”, coming out on March 13th, 2020, via Rockshots Records.

“Still Free to Choose” is available as digital single on Spotify and iTunes, paired with an official video, which can be seen below.

External releases official video for new single “Distant”

The Finnish progressive metal collective External have released a new song, “Distant”. It’s the follow-up to their previous single “Anhedonia”, released in June. The cover art was done by Lumi Hartikainen.

In the mixing process, once again, External worked with Asger Mygind from the Danish band VOLA. The song is accompanied by an animated music video by Tuomas Kortelainen.
