Cardinal Wyrm to release new studio album “Devotionals” on December 11th 2020

Long-running Oakland, California-based doom metal band Cardinal Wyrm is preparing to release their fourth album, “Devotionals”, on December 11th, 2020.

Alongside the album’s details, cover art, and preorders, the song “Nightmarchers” has been made available for streaming.
 

Jointhugger signs with Majestic Mountain Records

Hailing from the fjords of Norway, Jointhugger are an explosive trio that instantly bring to mind the cosmic doom and atmospheres of rock colossi such as Shrinebuilder, Sleep and YOB. Today, Thou have announced their collaborative album with Emma Ruth Rundle (appearing courtesy of Sargent House), “May Our Chambers Be Full”, which sees its release on October 30th, 2020, via Sacred Bones.

Its monolithic lead single, “Ancestral Recall” exemplifies the spirit of the collaboration. “It’s an easy marriage of our styles that was truly enhanced by everyone’s input during the arrangement process”.

The Ocean announces Winter 2021 European Headlining Tour

On September 25th, The Ocean will release their 8th full-length, “Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic”, via Metal Blade Records (CD / digital) and the band’s own Pelagic Records (vinyl).
