Members of Immolation and Goreaphobia form new band Shadows and sign with Agonia Records

Shadows is a new dark avant-garde metal band from Immolation and ex-Goreaphobia guitarist Alex Bouks, who brought other former Goreaphobia members to the table, including Henny Piotrowski (guitars) and Jake G (vocals). Alongside multi-instrumentalist Lance Walter, the US-based quartet has signed a record deal with Agonia Records, with plans to release their debut material in 2021.

Countless Skies to release new studio album “Glow” on November 6th 2020

UK-based melodic death metal band Countless Skies have joined forces with Willowtip Records for the release of their newest album, “Glow”.

The follow-up to 2016’s full-length debut “New Dawn”, “Glow” takes the band’s progressive brand of melodeth to new heights with richly-layered instrumentation, superb musicianship and raw emotion. Thematically, “Glow” is based on the album’s epic title track, a 20-minute opus split into three parts.

Subterranean Masquerade signs with Sensory Records and announces new album “Mountain Fever”

New Jersey-based progressive metal source Sensory Records has signed Israel’s long-running troupe Subterranean Masquerade. The band has recently completed their fourth LP, “Mountain Fever”, which is being prepared for release in the months ahead.
 

Hinayana to release “Death of the Cosmic” EP on August 28th 2020

Austin, Texas-based melodic death-doom metal unit Hinayana have been turning heads in the metal scene since their formation in 2014, starting out as a one-man band spearheaded by frontman Casey Hurd.

Now, after releasing their crushing 2018 full-length “Order Divine” and subsequently securing the attention of Napalm Records, Hinayana are poised to release their next musical offering – the crushing “Death of the Cosmic” EP – set for release on August 28th, 2020.
