EelST to release Best Of collection “Yes We Can’t” on March 3rd 2017

To explain what EelST (short form for ‘Elio e le Storie Tese’) is, we have to try to imagine what the word “viral”, so often used nowadays, could have meant in 1980, when the band started its activity.

In the first part of the eighties, not only social media, “likes” and “shares” were not part of the picture but the popular music scene, in Italy as everywhere else, was facing a big turning point.

Elliott Smith - “Either/Or” 20th Anniversary edition out on March 10th 2017

To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Elliott Smith’s best-selling and greatly beloved album, “Either/Or”, UMC are releasing “Either/Or: Expanded Edition”, on March 10th, 2017, on 2CD and digital, with a 2LP following on May 19th, 2017.

“Either/Or: Expanded Edition” features the original tracks carefully remastered from original tapes under the supervision of Larry Crane. The second disc features five live multi-track recordings from the Yo Yo A Go Go Festival in Olympia WA in 1997, as well as three previously unreleased studio recordings and one B-side gem.

British progressive metal heroes Threshold reveal first info on their upcoming new double-live-album “European Journey”, which was recorded at various venues across Europe during November 2014, in support of their current studio album “For the Journey”.

“European Journey” contains 15 live tracks and will be released as a 2-CD digipak, out on November 13th, 2015.
