The Corona Virus Effect…

GR logoCorona virus entered our lives suddenly (?) and out of nowhere (?). At first, the authorities thought it was another “new flu”, but they didn’t know how to act so as to keep people safe and stop it from spreading. Then they learned that this new “flu” is spreading like flash so they started reconsidering things, but it was already late.

Some governments sturdily enough didn’t take the apt measures to stop the fast spreading in their countries and they managed to cause a pandemic inside their country. Other countries learned from their mistakes and started acting more carefully and with caution so as to restrict the spreading.

I know shutting down schools, cafes, bar, etc. and changing the people’s everyday life may suck, but it is supposed to be done for some good reason. Then again, seeing people going out to plazas, cafés, beaches, and ski resorts, can easily be taken as an act of fool! This isn’t vacation! This isn’t the time to go out and have fun! This is time to be cautious and protect yourself and the others around you from the friggin Covid-19 that’s spreading like crazy out there.

We should all follow the guidelines issued by the relevant authorities and we must act with full responsibility so as to help stop this disease spreading even more each day.

It’s not that easy to stay at home and do nothing. It’s time to do the things that we never had the time to do and we had always been whining about. Now there’s time to do things, so why need you go out when you have nothing to do?! That’s totally insane.

Yeah, we all gonna miss some great live shows (to talk about music too), but our health is far more important than a few shows which will take place after a while when all things are back to normal. Just be a bit patient and everyone will get back to their everyday life sooner than we believe. Stay safe!

PS1: Music won’t stop due to corona virus... and neither will our lives; we need to do things from our home and our PCs, mobiles etc. After all, we can also enjoy our beloved music from home and have the time to listen to more and more new (and old) releases…

PS2: This month’s editorial is dedicated to the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eddie Money, who passed away in September 2019, at the age of 70. We will always listen to his great music and he won’t be forgotten as his music legacy will live on forever. Thx for the music Eddie! Rest in Peace…
