Blind Guardian’s Twilight Orchestra to release “Legacy of the Dark Lands” on November 8th 2019

Promising to be one of the most ambitious projects in metal history, Blind Guardian’s upcoming release will be well worth the wait. The idea of recording an orchestral album originally formed in the minds of the two leading lights of the Blind Guardian universe - guitarist André Olbrich and singer Hansi Kürsch - during the 1990s when Blind Guardian started to use orchestral elements to enhance their opulent sound.

Sonata Arctica to release new studio album “Talviyö” on September 6th 2019

On September 6th, 2019, Finnish melodic metal titans Sonata Arctica will release their tenth studio album, called “Talviyö” (which means “Winter Night”), which includes eleven new tracks.

“We were speaking about having an album cover made from a photo, and luckily managed to find the award winning photographer Onni Wiljami, who actually hails from a village not too far from our hometown. His pictures were just perfect for this album”, explains keyboardist Henrik “Henkka” Klingenberg.

Twilight Force releases music video for title track “Dawn of the Dragonstar”

Swedish adventure metallers Twilight Force are set to release their latest opus “Dawn of the Dragonstar” on August 16th, 2019, via Nuclear Blast.

Today, the fellowship has unveiled another epic tale off the much anticipated album in the form of animated pictures.

The spellbinding images were captured by Tommy Eriksson and the video was produced and directed by Stefan Altzar. Enjoy the magic melodies of “Dawn of the Dragonstar” below.

Sonata Arctica announces November & December 2019 European Headlining Tour

Today, the band are proud to announce a London show at The Electric Ballroom on December 11th, as part of their wider “The Raven Still Flies Over Europe” tour run, set to kick off on November 11th in Stockholm. On the road Sonata Arctica will be accompanied by Edge Of Paradise and Temple Balls.
