Therion to release new studio album “Leviathan” on January 22nd 2021

Sweden’s symphonic metal pioneers Therion are proud to unleash the first single and title track from their upcoming 17th studio album “Leviathan”, which is set to be released on January 22nd, 2021, via Nuclear Blast.
 
Balancing ominous atmosphere and powerful, seducing chants, “Leviathan” succeeds in virtually conjuring the mythical sea creature the song has borrowed its name from.
 

Ayreon to release new studio album “Transitus” on September 25th 2020

Ayreon will be releasing a brand-new sprawling and epic studio album “Transitus”, on September 25th, 2020, via Music Theories Recordings.

From the mastermind of Dutch multi-instrumentalist Arjen Lucassen, “Transitus” is inspired by supernatural movies such as The Others, The Changeling and Ghost along with the music of soundtrack composers John Carpenter (Halloween), Ennio Morricone (Once upon a Time in the West) and Jerry Goldsmith (Omen).

Virtual Symmetry to release new studio album “Exoverse” on June 30th 2020

Swiss-Italian progressive metal masters Virtual Symmetry will release their sophomore full-length album “Exoverse” on June 30th, 2020.
 
“Exoverse” is their first concept album, telling the story about a hero traveling to a new dimension beyond the known universe in order to discover himself.
