Anvil announces live stream metal show on July 4th 2020

Back in February, Canada’s Anvil released a new album “Legal at Last” celebrating the legalization of recreational cannabis use in the country. To support this album, the heavy metallers had a very thorough tour planned in the UK and Germany, with an assortment of other stops along the way. Unfortunately, like everyone else, COVID-19 stopped the tour in its tracks.

Grave Digger - Fields of Blood

Well, the thing with Grave Digger is kinda complicated, but also simple at the same time. They’re a band that for the best part of their forty year career has stood their ground performing their Teutonic heavy metal (greatly influenced by Accept etc.). When they did stray – trying to go into commercial territory (ie during the Digger period), they did fail rather spectacularly, thus resuming in their heavy metal ways and not refraining that much ever after.

Stallion - Slaves of Time

These “Comrade” leaning mustachio’d German metal merchants have been going on for a few years and “Slaves of Time” is their third album. Their typical speed metal owes as much to Metallica as and NWOBHM, as to earl thrash and their closest of the modern revivalists might be a band like say Skullfist.
