Mantar release music video for first single “Age of the Absurd”

Monstrous black/doom/punk chimaera Mantar have released the first single off of the band's new album, “The Modern Art of Setting Ablaze”, which is set to be unleashed on August 24th, 2018, via Nuclear Blast.

Stated singer/guitarist Hanno: “We decided to keep the video simple. Set up, play, destroy - pretty much exactly what we do all the time anyway. The song itself is a hard-line in your face kinda thing, so we thought we'd just show the band playing to point out our strengths. Some people claim that we turn into quite ugly animals while performing, so we decided to feature this flattering accusation. Enjoy!”...

Mantar to release new studio album “The Modern Art of Setting Ablaze” on August 24th 2018

Monstrous black/doom/punk chimera Mantar have announced the details for their upcoming third studio album.

The band's new album will be entitled “The Modern Art of Setting Ablaze”, include 12 songs and is set to be unleashed on August 24th, 2018, via Nuclear Blast.

“The Modern Art of Setting Ablaze” is a title in-keeping with Hanno’s symbolic obsession with fire on albums previous; this time disavowing mankind’s tendency to blindly follow those that would lead us into oblivion. This isn’t necessarily a political statement; more a morbid fascination with current smouldering tensions that threaten to set the minds of the masses on fire.
