Nibiru signs with Argonauta Records and announces new studio album

Never change a winning team. This team’s story started back in 2013, when Nibiru released their pathbreaking debut on the ever-growing powerhouse label Argonauta Records. Together they have released four highly acclaimed full-length albums and one EP, until the band inked a deal with Ritual Productions.

Today, the Italian collective announced their return to Argonauta Records, who will release Nibiru’s forthcoming, sixth studio album in the Fall of 2020!

Goldray to release new studio album “Feel the Change” on July 31st 2020

UK psycho rock-duo Goldray from Kenwyn House, guitarist of 90s rock giants Reef, who released their critically acclaimed debut album, “Rising” in 2017, are back with a double a-side single release and music video for the epic “How Do You Know” and the thunderous “Oz”. Lazaris Pit to release new studio album “Coniphers” on May 22nd 2020

Raleigh-based rock outfit Lazaris Pit have announced they will release their new “Coniphers” album.

Ahead of that, they present the lead single “You Don’t Tag Me in Memes Anymore”, a modern-day break-up song, often detached from the moments that make life worth living and musing on the deeper workings of it all with the grim reality that someone important has moved on. They also present a video rendition of this single, live in Athens, Georgia. Listen to the new track below.

Kayleth to release new studio album “2020 Back to Earth” on May 8th 2020

After years of travelling through space looking for new worlds, on May 8th, 2020, Italian stoner rockers Kayleth return to their home planet with the hotly anticipated release of their third full-length album, titled “2020 Back to Earth”, via their mothership Argonauta Records. While each of the band’s records tell a story, this time Kayleth find the earth in a disastrous condition, a planet mutilated by its humans.

Ulver release official video for new single “Russian Doll”

Friday 14th February, Valentines Day 2020, Ulver release the new single “Russian Doll” from a forthcoming album. 

The song follows in the footsteps of their previous album, “The Assassination of Julius Caesar”, only this time the wolves draw the listener deeper into a black infinity mirror.

Mayflower Madame to release new studio album “Prepared for a Nightmare” on March 27th 2020

Psychedelic post-punk outfit Mayflower Madame are about to unleash a new wave of their dark and distinctive blend of post-punk, shoegaze and psychedelia on their forthcoming album “Prepared for a Nightmare”, to be released in late March via French label Only Lovers Records, in collaboration with Portland’s Little Cloud Records and Parisian label Icy Cold Records. Ahead of that, they present the lead track “Vultures”. Listen to the new track below.

Avatarium - The Fire I Long For

Avatarium are a side project of Candlemass mastermind, Leif Edling, who pretty much took a life of their own after their debut was met with a fair bit of success. The albums that followed up still featured Edling, but his involvement was more limited, due to his battle with exhaustion, after years on the road that manifested psychosomatically. He didn’t tour with the band however; in fact he didn’t even tour with Candlemass during that time.

Insect Ark to release new studio album “The Vanishing” on February 28th 2020

Insect Ark - currently made up of founder Dana Schechter (Swans) and Andy Patterson (ex SubRosa) - have been crafting uncomfortable soundscapes that feel both intimate and icy cold since 2011. Nightmarish horror film-like visions, outer space travel, and gritty noir textures were explored in their previous offerings - the much-praised Portal / Well” (2015) and “Marrow Hymns” (2018) - but now, something far greater is coming. Prepare for “The Vanishing”.
 

Avatarium launch lyric video video for “Lay Me Down”

Swedish doom metallers Avatarium release their highly-praised new dark gospel “The Fire I Long For” today via Nuclear Blast.

To mark the occasion, the band has unveiled an official lyric video for the song “Lay Me Down”, which features guest appearances by Leif Sundin (backing vocals) and Michael Blair (percussion).
