Doro announces worldwide live stream of her final drive-in cinema show from Bühl Germany

Doro Pesch is the first rock musician to stage a concert at drive-in cinemas for her fans. The Metal Queen’s first show in June was attended by hundreds of thrilled fans in the city of Worms, Germany and watched by more than half a million (!) people worldwide via live stream.

Doro hosts first metal drive-in show in Germany

The undisputed queen of metal Doro hosted the first metal drive-in show last week! Hundreds of her fans celebrated her famous hits including “Für Immer”, “Love Me in Black” and “All for Metal”.

During the “All We Are” encore, she climbed down from the stage and sang for fans at their cars whilst they flashed their lights and honked their horns.

One and a half years after the release of her extremely successful double album “Forever Warriors, Forever United”, metal queen Doro Pesch has already started working on material for a new album.

“Since February, I've been back in the studio in the USA. There are some pretty awesome things happening in these writing sessions”, Doro reveals.

Pyogenesis - A Silent Soul Screams Loud

Pyogenesis are surely a weird band they started as a melodic death band, went through an alternative phase during their commercial peak, a couple of them formed the one hit wonder band Liquido, who came up with the novel love song/ode to cocaine, “Cocaine” and still Pyogenesis who got a fair bit of ridicule for their choices and that weird cover of “unpop” just kept on going.
 

Amberian Dawn - Looking for You

I guess, I sort of have a weird ambivalent relationship with Amberian Dawn’s music. One of almost like love/hate proportions. I did like their debut, which came some twelve years ago with another singer, which was more pompous and early Nightwish like, with clearly cut operatic vocals, antagonizing clear symphonic tendencies. Members from a variety of Finnish bands came and went and this Heidi Parviainen era of the band produced some four albums in a more neoclassical inspired mode, they tried to evolve, rather unspectacularly.
 

M.I.L.F. - Rolling Thunder

I dunno why, but for some reason, I won’t even bother to analyze Italian sleazeballs M.I.L.F. sound familiar. No it has nothing to do with the American Pie, “Mothers I’d to F@ck”, reference, or even the acronym of an eponymous skewered meat restaurant in Athens, which stands for “Meat, I Live For”… so what it is then…
