Aether Realm to release new studio album “Redneck Vikings from Hell” on May 1st 2020

Aether Realm takes the next step! After signing with Napalm Records in 2018, the four-piece from North Carolina is ready to unleash their newest multi-faceted full-length, “Redneck Vikings from Hell”, to be released on May 1st, 2020!

The new album will take you on a stupefying rollercoaster ride of death metal, thrash and even neo-classical shred. With their new album, the band improves upon their already distinctive sound that’s been astonishing fans since day one!

Pyogenesis - A Silent Soul Screams Loud

Pyogenesis are surely a weird band they started as a melodic death band, went through an alternative phase during their commercial peak, a couple of them formed the one hit wonder band Liquido, who came up with the novel love song/ode to cocaine, “Cocaine” and still Pyogenesis who got a fair bit of ridicule for their choices and that weird cover of “unpop” just kept on going.

Amberian Dawn - Looking for You

I guess, I sort of have a weird ambivalent relationship with Amberian Dawn’s music. One of almost like love/hate proportions. I did like their debut, which came some twelve years ago with another singer, which was more pompous and early Nightwish like, with clearly cut operatic vocals, antagonizing clear symphonic tendencies. Members from a variety of Finnish bands came and went and this Heidi Parviainen era of the band produced some four albums in a more neoclassical inspired mode, they tried to evolve, rather unspectacularly.

M.I.L.F. - Rolling Thunder

I dunno why, but for some reason, I won’t even bother to analyze Italian sleazeballs M.I.L.F. sound familiar. No it has nothing to do with the American Pie, “Mothers I’d to F@ck”, reference, or even the acronym of an eponymous skewered meat restaurant in Athens, which stands for “Meat, I Live For”… so what it is then…

Temperance releases lyric video for new single “I Am the Fire”

Today, symphonic metal quartet Temperance unleashes yet another mind-blowing single “I Am the Fire”, fresh off their upcoming album, “Viridian”, to be released in just a few days on January 24th, 2020!

“I Am the Fire” is about finding strength through life’s hardships and that anyone can overcome obstacles put in their way by believing in themselves and find the power within.

Lordi - Killection

Lordi, a band unfortunate enough to be caught doing a whole band playback, during a festival in Russia, has been around since 1992, believe it or not, but didn’t really debut until a decade later and weren’t up to much, until they took part and won in 2006’s Eurovision contest with the now infamous “Hard Rock Hallelujah”.
