Marty Friedman to release new studio album “Wall of Sound” on August 4th 2017

Marty Friedman's new album, “Wall of Sound”, which will be released on August 4th, 2017, expands and destroys any conventional notions of instrumental music.

The album was produced by Friedman, engineered by Paul Fig (Ghost, Rush, Alice In Chains) and mixed by Jens Bogren (Lamb of God, Opeth).

Legendary Queen producer, Mack, came on board to handle the mixing on two tracks, “Streetlight” and “For a Friend”, which Friedman proclaimed was, “an honor for me, for sure”.

Dperd - V

Dpered are an Italian duo that features members of cult Italian darkwave band, Fear Of The Storm. While I don’t follow the band, I’m pretty sure I’ve heard some of their previous material while browsing through their record company’s site and I remember them being a bit more “involved”.
“V” is very laid back, dark, melancholic, but in a catatonic sort of way that however is not that cold or glacial, as your average “dark wave”… vocalist Valeria has a voice that I find displeasing, quite cold and removed that sounds rather foreboding and out-worldly as it’s “verbed” quite a bit.

Dperd to release new album “V” on March 14th 2016

V”, the new album of Dperd, will be released on March 14th, 2016 and below you can find the complete tracklist and the definitive cover album.

Dperd is back and the duo does it with their fifth full-length album, the most intense and elegant of their 15 years career that encourages you to fall into their world that stretches from intimate and atmospheric Dark Wave to a filmic fusion of melancholic Dark Rock all within the realms of suberb Valeria's voice.

In 2016 there's no way to escape Dperd's beauty.

Dperd announces new album “V” - due out on March 14th 2016

Dperd is coming back and the italian duo is doing it with their fifth full-length album called simply “V”, without any doubt the grandest and most elegant album of their 15 years career.

Once again they focused their efforts on the intimate and atmospheric Dark Wave mixing it to a filmic fusion of modern melancholic Dark Rock. The magic of bands like The Cure, Cocteau Twins but also the grandeur of nowadays acts like Dead Can Dance, Lycia, This Mortal Coil and Cranes is present in their music giving to the whole a superb sense of beauty.

Blackmore’s Night - All Our Yesterdays

New studio album for Blackmore’s Night, two years after “Dancer and the Moon”. Once again we get some nice folk acoustic pop tracks, with fine melodies and some great performances. Candice’s voice is wonderful as always and the one & only Ritchie still manages to send chill down our spine with his guitar, when he goes electric. I miss Ritchie’s electric days so much and, in truth to be told, Ritchie owes his fans another hard rock album. Can you hear us Ritchie? We want Rainbow back now! Damn it’s been 20 years since the last Rainbow album!

Gregorian to release “Masters of Chant X: The Final Chapter” on November 6th 2015

Gregorian’s incredibly successful “Masters of Chants” saga is going to reach its final chapter this autumn. What started in 1999 turned into a triumphal march for the band and producer Frank Peterson with sales exceeding over 10 million worldwide and being awarded Gold and Platinum in 18 countries. Gregorian certainly is one of the most successful German artists abroad.

Stephen Duros

Hi Stephen… first of all, congrats on “AEAEA”. It’s a really intriguing and stimulating album on the whole.
S: Thank you so much! I appreciate your thoughts on the record.
Do tell us… how did you decide to deal with “Odyssey” on your new album and what’s the main thing that inspired you to write your own story?
S: The poem was inspiring, I wanted to carefully craft a story of my own that involved adventure, love, sadness, and all different kinds of emotions when listening.
