Vola to release new studio album “Applause of a Distant Crowd” on October 12th 2018

Copenhagen’s progressive genre-crossing quartet Vola return with their new album “Applause of a Distant Crowd”, which will be released on October 12th, 2018, via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group.

Vola's previous album “Inmazes” was met with a wave of critical praise; Prog Magazine lauded their “widescreen heavy stadium Prog”, Metal Hammer rejoiced in the “genre-defying, weighty riffs, gloomy, ambient soundscapes and guttural grooves”, whilst The Sun exclaimed their “genre-mashing” ability.

Frost* re-sign with InsideOut Music

Frost*, the band masterminded by producer, keyboard player & vocalist Jem Godfrey, has announced that they have re-signed with long-time label partner InsideOut Music (who this year celebrate their 25th anniversary).

This new deal will encompass several forthcoming releases, including 2 new studio albums, a live album (filmed at 2017’s sold out show in London), as well as reissues of the bands back catalogue.

Marillion to release “All One Tonight (Live at the Royal Albert Hall)” on July 27th 2018

On October 13, 2017, Marillion played at the Royal Albert Hall for the very first time.

The concert was sold out in a split second and the audience, travelling from all over the world, was rewarded with an incredible Marillion show.

In two parts, “All One Tonight (Live at the Royal Albert Hall)” firstly showcases the band’s acclaimed 2016 studio album “F*** Everyone and Run (F E A R)” in full. Accompanied by an awe-inspiring light show and films, Marillion perform their incisive and era-defining zeitgeist with unparalleled passion and power.

The Slyde to release debut full-length album “Awakening” on May 18th 2018

Following up with 2017's EP release “Back Again”, Toronto melodic proggers The Slyde return with their first full-length effort titled “Awakening”.

The band (formerly known as just Slyde) will drop ten tracks of their intricate, contrapuntal prog rock that they've honed over the last decade on May 18, 2018.
