Louise Distras announces Winter 2019 UK Headlining Tour

Louise Distras is pleased to announce she’s back on the road for a stretch of headline tour dates next January & February.
 
Commenting on the news, Louise says:
“It’s going to be just me, my guitar, and my songs. I can’t wait to hit the road and finally share everything I’ve been working on over the past 12 months”.
 
This year Distras announced she’s been recording her sophomore album in Oakland CA with producer Ross Petersen (Bruce Springsteen, Goo Goo Dolls, The Vamps).

Between The Lines drop new lyric video for “To the Wind”

Brit Tunesmiths Between The Lines are prepared for the release of their debut mini-EP, “To the Wind”, out on Friday 6th July, through all platforms.

The Brit newcomers have also just released a new lyric video for the EP's namesake “To the Wind”. Check it out below.

By pulling from the melodic vigour of contemporary custodians of punk-pop Neck Deep and Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, through to US heavyweights Four Year Strong, Between The Lines have creted a sound that merges ultra-hooky choruses with woven guitar work and pounding beats that will draw in and ignite the listener.

Idles to release new studio album “Joy as an Act of Resistance” on August 31st 2018

Bristol 5-piece Idles (“the UK's best punk band” - The Guardian) have confirmed details for their anticipated second LP - “Joy as an Act of Resistance.” will be out on August 31st, 2018, via Partisan Records.

Idles have also shared the album’s first single, a pro-immigration anthem entitled “Danny Nedelko”, which takes its name from one of the band’s close friends (and Ukrainian immigrant).

The song is accompanied by a self-directed video that features Danny himself - watch the video below.

Idles announce April 2018 headlining live shows in London and Manchester

The momentum continues for Bristol punks Idles, who follow raucous shows at Reading & Leeds, selling out Village Underground in just a few hours and supporting Foo Fighters at The O2 with the announcement of their biggest headliner yet at London's Heaven on April 19th, 2018. They will also play Manchester's Gorilla the night before on April 18th, 2018.

The two shows go on-sale Friday 27th October at 9am here.

Macclesfield rockers The Virginmarys have announced their new EP “Sitting Ducks” will be released on September 22nd, 2017.
