Cyhra - No Halos in Hell

Cyhra, are a bit of a supergroup, consisting of members current and former of Kamelot, Amaranthe, Rhapsody, In Flames and others, who decided to collaborate on a new project, which turned out to be more fulfilling than a lot of their former band. As the band consists mainly of industry “heavy weights” it didn’t take long for them to be picked by a big company, Nuclear Blast in this case.

Cyhra to release new studio album “No Halos in Hell” on November 15th 2019

Boosted by the success of their 2017 debut, “Letters to Myself”, modern melodic metal high-flyers Cyhra are using that momentum and pushing forward with a new album - the sophomore “No Halos in Hell” will see the light of day on November 15th, 2019, via Nuclear Blast.

CyHra - Letters to Myself

It’s true that since In Flames toured with Slipknot, they turned their collective heads towards America and just fizzled out into a pop producing entity with guitars with the songwriting as well going down the shitter at some point even Jesper, who was one of the founding members, jumped out of the ship. Basically, CyHra is Peter Iwers (bass) and Jesper Strömblad (guitar), both former In Flames, joined by former Amaranthe “clean” singer Joacim “Jake E” Lundberg, as well as current LT’s Rhapsody drummer Alex Landenburg and former Shining guitarist Euge Valovirta. All in all, a fine gathering of talented musicians.
