Doro hosts first metal drive-in show in Germany

The undisputed queen of metal Doro hosted the first metal drive-in show last week! Hundreds of her fans celebrated her famous hits including “Für Immer”, “Love Me in Black” and “All for Metal”.

During the “All We Are” encore, she climbed down from the stage and sang for fans at their cars whilst they flashed their lights and honked their horns.

Machine Head releases new digital single “Civil Unrest”

Bay Area metal icons Machine Head have released “Civil Unrest”, a 2-song digital single, featuring A-side, “Stop the Bleeding” and B-side, “Bulletproof”, with the former featuring additional guest vocals from Killswitch Engage frontman, Jesse Leach.

This pair of fierce protest anthems were both written days after the back-to-back murders of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery. They are not for the faint of heart. 

Crypta signs with Napalm Records

Brazilian/Dutch death metal alliance Crypta have officially signed with Napalm Records and Napalm Events. Formed in June 2019, the four-piece line up consists of Fernanda Lira and Luana Dametto, both former members of Brazilian thrash metal force Nervosa, plus the talented Sonia Anubis (Cobra Spell, ex-Burning Witches) and Tainá Bergamaschi (ex-Hagbard).

From The Depth to release new studio album “Moments” on August 28th 2020

Italy’s From The Depth has just signed with Rockshots Records for the release of their second full-length album “Moments” hitting sales platforms around the world on August 28th, 2020.

Punchy and aggressive, fans who have been waiting since 2014’s EP “Perseverance”, are now rewarded with this 10 track album. “Moments” is a series of personal occasions in the band member’s lives that they are reliving through their music, from hard times to the anniversary of the band forming. Sepultura welcomes Scott Ian to this week’s “Roots” special SepulQuarta session

In this week’s SepulQuarta session Sepultura welcomes Scott Ian (Anthrax, S.O.D) who will be performing “Cut Throat” during this “Roots” special of SepulQuatra.

The band will also welcome Silvio “Bibica” Gomes, the band’s studio tech/roadie for many albums and tours. Silvio will be part of the Q&A session - he will chat about the “Roots” recordings at the Indigo Ranch Studios in Malibu, California during the winter of 1995.
