Anvil announces live stream metal show on July 4th 2020

Back in February, Canada’s Anvil released a new album “Legal at Last” celebrating the legalization of recreational cannabis use in the country. To support this album, the heavy metallers had a very thorough tour planned in the UK and Germany, with an assortment of other stops along the way. Unfortunately, like everyone else, COVID-19 stopped the tour in its tracks.

Wail signs with Wormholedeath and announces new album “Civilization Maximus”

Norwegian heavy metal combo Wail signed a deal with Wormholedeath for the digital release of 4 singles and afterwards the full album “Civilization Maximus” (TBA).

The band stated:
“Wail tighten their grip on the underground as they sign with WormHoleDeath”.

NorthTale part ways with vocalist Christian Eriksson

Last year, Swedish-American power metal supergroup NorthTale released their successful debut album “Welcome to Paradise”, via Nuclear Blast.

Today, they are announcing the departure of their singer Christian Eriksson.

Guitarist Bill Hudson states: 

“As if 2020 couldn’t get any more weird…
 
We have to officially announce that Christian Eriksson is no longer a part of NorthTale.
 

Seeker give away free MP3 download of “Metal Rage” as tribute to the late singer Frankie D

The 80s Heavy Metal band, Seeker, is giving away a free MP3 download of their song “Metal Rage”, as a way to pay tribute to the band’s late singer Frankie D (Frank Dorizio), who was tragically killed on a Arizona highway this past March 4th, while working as a member of the state’s Department of Transportation.

“It’s never easy losing someone”, said Seeker guitarist Mick Michaels. “Frankie was such a dynamic personality… it just doesn’t seem real”.
