Shadow Witch to release new studio album “Under the Shadow of a Witch” on February 14th 2020

Shadow Witch, who inked a worldwide deal with Argonauta Records last year, are a heavy rock/stoner metal band from the Hudson Valley region of New York. Forming in the autumn of 2015, the band released their first full-length album “Sun Killer” to excellent reviews from the international heavy music community in the summer of 2016.

The Well announces Winter & Spring 2020 European and North American Headlining Tour

The Well announce yet another round of North American, EU and UK tour dates in support of their critically acclaimed new album “Death and Consolation” (RidingEasy Records).

The band has spent much of the year on tour, and now continue the trek into 2020, sharing some US dates with label mates Zig-Zags and R.I.P..

Opeth - In Cauda Venenum

In all honesty, I was not a big fan of Opeth when they were playing death metal, since I thought other bands were doing a much better job at it, but when they started going soft, circa “Still Life”, I thought they were losing every ounce of credibility. They inadvertently abandoned their extreme style for a more mature, so called progressive style, just a little bit into the millennium and released a bunch of watered down albums that gained them a wider appeal, as they became more and more accessible.

The Whirlings to release new studio album “Earthshine” on October 18th 2019

Italian progressive rockers The Whirlings just inked a deal with Subsound Records for the release of their brand new album “Earthshine” and are now ready to unveil a first glimpse of what to expect with their stunning new song “Vacuum”!

“Earthshine” propels itself way beyond the band’s trademark heavy psych and post-rock sound, offering a rich blend of genres and so does “Vacuum” featuring Vera Claps, streaming right now below.

Kadavar releases live video for “You Found the Best in Me”

Berlin, Germany-based rock overlords Kadavar have released a live cut of the song “You Found the Best in Me”. The footage comes off the bonus blu-ray (see formats below) included on the band’s eagerly awaited new album, “For the Dead Travel Fast”, which includes the full set of the band’s special Berlin show earlier this years, featuring a group of friends and fellow musicians, comprised as The Cosmic Riders Of The Black Sun, performing Kadavar songs with more instruments and arrangements.
