Volbeat to release new studio album “Servant of the Mind” on December 3rd 2021

The wait is finally over. Today, multi-platinum Danish band Volbeat announce the release of their eighth studio album, “Servant of the Mind”, on December 3rd, 2021, via EMI Records.
 
For “Servant of the Mind”, the band - Michael Poulsen (guitars/vocals), Jon Larsen (drums), Rob Caggiano (guitars) and Kaspar Boye Larsen (bass) - took their signature heavy metal, psychobilly, and punk ‘n’ roll sound up a notch while showcasing Poulsen’s keen ability for songwriting and storytelling.
 

Black Violence signs licensing deal with Wormholedeath for the release of “Extinction Control”

Hard‘n’Heavy metal combo Black Violence have signed with Wormholedeath a licensing deal for their album “Extinction Control” due for release on November 12th, 2021.

Fit For An Autopsy to release new studio album “Oh What the Future Holds” on January 14th 2021

New Jersey six-piece Fit For An Autopsy — Joseph Badolato [vocals], Patrick Sheridan [guitar], Timothy Howley [guitar], Will Putney [guitar], Peter Blue Spinazola [bass], and Josean Orta Martinez [drums]  — have announced their sixth album “Oh What the Future Holds”.

The record arrives on January 14th, 2021, via Nuclear Blast.

Ra live in Madison, WI, 2021

Ra, which their longevity goes as far back as the 90’s, came out of the gates this year with announcing the “Intercorrupted” tour to back their release with the same name. And they brought a great mix of local and national talent to the Annex.
 
Unfortunately, I completely missed the opening band, Autumn Reverie, with time allowance for interviews that night. Regardless, from the crowd response as I walked around and asked how it started off, at least the night is lit up.

How do you feel that Ovtlier is taking part in the US tour along with Gemini Syndrome and AKC?
 
Joey: I feel great. I feel very fortunate because all the tours are trying to get out all at once. I am glad to get back out on the road. And for Gemini to select us is incredibly awesome. They’ve been awesome, super friendly and down to earth.
