Sabaton releases Lyric Video for “Sparta”

Swedish heavy metal heroes Sabaton - best known for singing almost exclusively about historical wars and battles, a direction the band members were inspired by after watching the 1999 Academy Award-winning film Saving Private Ryan - released their latest, highly-acclaimed record, “The Last Stand”, on August 19th, 2016, through Nuclear Blast and have entered the Top 10 of the World Charts with a fantastic #6.

Hammers Of Misfortune - Dead Revolution

It’s funny but buy this point in time the Hammers Of Misfortune have existed for something like two decades, with some seven releases if someone counts their “Unholy Cadaver” days… They run almost parallel ways with The Lord Weird Slough Feg with the main personas of each band helping out each other for some time, because of their locality.

Ivory - Southern Cross

Ivory are a Belorussian act, debuting after existing for almost a decade with “Southern Cross”. The band was founded in 2008 by singer Sergei Butovsky and keyboard player Dmitry Chernyshevski, following changes in style and direction and ultimately lineup.
The band was able to finish working on their debut after working on it over 3 years. The style is a complex symphonic heavy metal with epic melodies and a rather idiosyncratic style of singing that’s consistent but might take a bit of getting used to, as it’s a bit of a rough baritone that’s not bad, but rather unusual for a style that’s mostly dominated by tenors.
