Skálmöld to release new studio album “Sorgir” on October 12th 2018

The Icelandic Viking Metal Heroes Skálmöld strike back with their 5th full length album “Sorgir”.

“Sorgir” will be released on October 12th, 2018, via Napalm Records.

The album title (eng.: sorrows) gives the headline for this concept album that is divided in two parts: The first four songs tell four short stories about tragedies and death. It is called Sagnir (tales). The second chapter called Svipir (ghosts) thickens the plot by telling the same four stories from a different perspective.

Evilon to release debut full-length album “Leviathan” on September 28th 2018

Swedish Melodic Folk-Death Metal act Evilon are pleased to announce that they have signed with WormHoleDeath for the release of their debut album “Leviathan”.

“Leviathan” will be out on September 28th, 2018, via Wormholedeath / Aural Music Group / The Orchard.

KormaK to release debut album “Faerenus” on June 29th 2018

Hailing from the south of Italy, newcomer folk metallers KormaK have just signed a record deal with Rockshots Records for the release of their debut album “Faerenus” in June!

The album inspects on the concept of madness and what this is caused by. Indeed “Faerenus” is the ethereal place where the hidden fears come to life by creating times, places and divinities, and the mind self-evolves until all the memories are mutated into obsessive nightmares with no escape.

“Faerenus” is a no-place covered of secret symbols, as well as obscure meanings, ending with the lullaby “Eterea El” that commits you to leave that place no more.

Celtachor to release new studio album “Fiannaìocht” on April 20th 2018

The third full-length of Ireland's Celtachor, entitled “Fiannaìocht”, will be released on April 20th, 2018, through Trollzorn.

The band, established 2007 in Dublin, melds influences of Black, Doom and Folk Metal and showcases their own vision of Irish Mythology by playing music with passion and straight from the heart.

By adding a violinist and instruments like Irish harp and bouzouki, the new album results in more folk and melodic tunes.

Primordial releases video for new single “Exile Amongst the Ruins”

Irish Pagan Metal Gods Primordial will release their new album, “Exile Amongst the Ruins”, on March 30th, 2018, through Metal Blade Records.

Teaming with producer Ola Ersfjord, who worked on Primordial’s 2016 live album, “Gods to the Godless”, the record was tracked at Dublin’s Camelot Studios, located adjacent to their rehearsal room.

Irish pagan metal gods Primordial announces their new album “Exile Amongst the Ruins” for a March 30th, 2018, release through Metal Blade Records.

The band teamed with producer Ola Ersfjord, who worked on their 2016 live album “Gods to the Godless”.

The record was tracked at Dublin’s Camelot Studios, located adjacent to Primordial’s rehearsal room.

Eluveitie announces Autumn 2017 European Tour with Amaranthe

Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie are putting finishing touches on their upcoming second acoustic record entitled “Evocation II”.

After a release show at Summer Breeze, Germany, the band led by Chrigel Glanzmann will embark on a European club tour to present their new songs to the fans live on stage.

Swedish modern melodic metallers Amaranthe will be accompanying Eluveitie on their European adventure. The opening band will be the newcomers of The Charm The Fury.
