The Nest to release debut album “Ad Astra” on March 20th 2020

The Nest has released “River Mnemosyne”, the third single from their upcoming album,“Ad Astra”, on all digital platforms. This song is about a couple who worry that the man has the Alzheimer’s that runs in the family.

The band wants to use their music to make a difference, so the release coincides with the launching of a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Disease International. Vocals were recorded, and songs were mixed, by Mikko Herranen of Noise Floor studios in Helsinki.
 

Tool wins Best Metal Performance Grammy Award for “7empest”

Tool has won a GRAMMY Award® for Best Metal Performance (“7empest”).

Danny Carey (drums) and Justin Chancellor (bass) accepted the awards at today’s Premiere Ceremony in Los Angeles.

“I’d like to thank all the gods because I don’t think it’s a good time to piss them off”, Carey said. He also thanked his band mates Chancellor, Adam Jones and Maynard James Keenan.

The single is a fundamental part of the album and will take the listener on a sorrowful journey, showing the world that even the Devil himself is sometimes caught by feelings of self-doubt and melancholy.

Psychedelic post-punk outfit Mayflower Madame are about to unleash a new wave of their dark and distinctive blend of post-punk, shoegaze and psychedelia on their forthcoming album “Prepared for a Nightmare”, to be released in late March via French label Only Lovers Records, in collaboration with Portland’s Little Cloud Records and Parisian label Icy Cold Records.
