Nibiru to release new studio album “Panspermia” on November 13th 2020

Following their latest album, “Salbrox” (2019, Ritual Productions), Blackened Sludge and Drone trio, Nibiru, have re-signed with Argonauta Records for the release of their sixth studio album, titled “Panspermia”, that will be seeing the light of day on Friday the 13th of November 2020.

Today, Thou have announced their collaborative album with Emma Ruth Rundle (appearing courtesy of Sargent House), “May Our Chambers Be Full”, which sees its release on October 30th, 2020, via Sacred Bones.

Its monolithic lead single, “Ancestral Recall” exemplifies the spirit of the collaboration. “It’s an easy marriage of our styles that was truly enhanced by everyone’s input during the arrangement process”.

The Ocean announces Winter 2021 European Headlining Tour

On September 25th, The Ocean will release their 8th full-length, “Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic”, via Metal Blade Records (CD / digital) and the band’s own Pelagic Records (vinyl).

In 2018, The Ocean released “Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic” - the first half of a sprawling but superbly cohesive paleontology concept album. Now, the group is ready to release the eagerly-awaited concluding parts of the Phanerozoic journey.

Athon to release self-titled debut album on September 25th 2020

Of what started as a cover project in 2014, paying a tribute to bands alike Mastodon, Black Tusk, Red Fang or Sleep, should soon become a hot tip of Italy’s eclectic underground scene, when Athon began to create their own tracks and sound.

The four-piece collective hailing from the alps of Varese, Italy, combines their various influences with individual ideas, songwriting and a personal trademark sound, balancing graciously between the elements of stoner, sludge and doom metal.
