Aodon to release new studio album “11069” on March 27th 2020

French post-black metal trio Aodon have signed with Willowtip Records and will release their sophomore album “11069” on March 27th, 2020.

The album will be available on CD digipak, vinyl LP, and digital formats.

White Stones release music video for first single “Worms”

From Martin Mendez, bassist of the ubiquitous Opeth comes White Stones, a solo death metal project.

Hangatyr to release new studio album “kalt” on March 2nd 2020

When the fellows launched Hangatyr in Spring 2006, the stylistic direction of the idealists from Saxony and Central Thuringia was immediately clear: cold, Nordic guitar riffs, paired with typical Thuringian melodies and German lyrics, inspired by the mythology that lives deep inside the creators, should shape the music.

I was never, much of a fan of Aherusia’s first couple of albums, considering them to be a neat, if not a little more artistic, version of Rotting Christ, a band I was never too big on, with the exception of a couple of albums, due to their poor English enunciation. This however totally changed around, when the former released their third album, “Prometheus”, an ambitious concept album, which decides to modernize and give its own interpretation to the Promethean myth.

Last year, Italian orchestral-death metal giants Fleshgod Apocalypse unleashed their highly-praised 5th album, “Veleno”, unto the world through Nuclear Blast. After storming European stages as part of the “MTV Headbanger’s Ball Tour” alongside label mates Kataklysm as well as Whitechapel and Dyscarnate in November/December 2019, the time has come for the band to once again return to our clubs as headliners in autumn 2020. This time, the sextet will be supported by metal legionnaires Ex Deo.
