Michael Schenker Fest kick off recording process for new studio album

In 2016, guitar virtuoso Michael Schenker put together Michael Schenker Fest, a tour featuring former Michael Schenker Group vocalists Gary Barden and Graham Bonnet, plus Robin McAuley of the McAuley Schenker Group. Instrumental back-up was provided by former M.S.G. bass player Chris Glen and drummer Ted McKenna, plus guitarist/keyboard player Steve Mann, also of the McAuley Schenker Group.

Hissing announces February & March 2019 North American Tour with Abstracter

Seattle harsh/death metal trio Hissing has announced a run of West Coast North American tour dates for early 2019 in support of their debut LP, “Permanent Destitution”, released in October through Profound Lore Records.

The tour sees Hissing paired with Oakland’s brutalizing Abstracter, with dates running from February 22nd through March 2nd.

Avantasia reveals lyric video for new epic single “The Raven Child”

Monte Pittman announces Winter 2019 North American Tour with Tony MacAlpine

Beginning January 27th, Monte Pittman will head out on the road as direct support to Tony MacAlpine, with special guest Lonero.

Pittman comments: “I’m excited and honored to hit the road opening for Tony MacAlpine. We’re playing some of the cities I recently played while opening for Sebastian Bach this fall, so I’m really looking forward to getting back there. This is going to be a great way to start the year”.
