SURPRISE OF MARCH 2005

|
HANOI ROCKS
Yes,
every good element of the band is here but it’s presented in a new,
fresh way without being retro. The production is fantastic and very
dynamic and the band is in great shape. Although, I like their previous
work very much, I can say that “Another Hostile Takeover” is closer to
the “paranoid” glam/hard rock style of the band that made it popular
in the 80’s. Also, this album is more well-produced and well-written
than the previous one. The
album contains 17 songs with some intros among them and it won’t give
you time to rest until the very end. Rock n’ Roll rhythms, hard rock
guitars, excellent vocals, our beloved sax, are all here... it’s like
I’m listening to the first records of the band but with a better
production! This album is totally one of the best albums that Hanoi Rocks
have released to date. How can you resist on songs like: “Back In Her
Face”, “Hurt”, “The Devil In You”, “Love”, “Talk To The
Hand”, “Eternal Optimist”, “No Compromise, No Regrets”, “You
Make The Earth Move”, “Better High”, “Dear Miss Lonely Hearts”
and “Center Of My Universe”? Well, I do not think that is easy! If you are a fan of the band then you are already enjoying this brilliant album! If you are thinking whether to buy it or not, I only have to tell you that you’re gonna miss some of the best rock n’ roll songs of this year, and not only, if you do not get it right away! Hanoi Rocks proved once again that they are the kings of glam rock and have no opponent!!
