Lonewolf
Army Of The Damned
Napalm Records
2012
5.5/10
Surely, you can’t expect any variations in Lonewolf’s music… and I’m quite sure that’s why they have a loyal fan base that has been following them since 2002 when they released their debut album.

This mix of Running Wild meets Accept meets Grave Digger is working well for the band itself and there’s not need to go anywhere out of their territory. Especially nowadays when (the returned) Running Wild… is a shadow of themselves (as their latest album title also reveals).

The album has a very powerful production as it was produced by Bart Gabriel (Jack Starrs’s Burning Starr, Crystal Viper). There’s a guest appearance of Blaze Bayley on the song “The One You Never See” as well.

If you like the band’s previous works or you’re a fan of the aforementioned bands then you will totally find something worth listening here.
