Chapter No3 for guitarist/songwriter Stu Marshall (ex-Dungeon); once again he has gathered some famous vocalists to participate in the album. One by one: Udo Dirkschneider (Accept, U.D.O.), Rob Rock (Impellitteri, Driver), Steve Grimmett (Grim Reaper, Lionsheart), Mike Dimeo (ex-Masterplan, ex-Riot), Sean Peck (Cage), Carlos Zema (Outworld, Vougan), Ronny Munroe (TSO, Metal Church), Alessandro Del Vecchio (Edge of Forever), Danny Cecati (Eyefear, Pegazus), Louie Gorgievski (Crimsonfire), Vo Simpson (Darker Half), Shane French (guest solo on “Cyborg”) & Yoshiyasu Maruyama (guest solo on “Born a King”). Quite an impressive line-up huh?

The album features heavy/power metal music, with fast solos, powerful tempos and generally, all the elements of the genre. The songs were written specially for each one of the vocalists and they also had complete freedom to write the lyrics and melodies so as to make the songs more personal. The production of the album is very good and powerful as well. There are some good performances here as well as tunes… but the major problem with releases such as this… is that they can’t escape the clichés of the specific music style. Nothing new… no imagination… just safe heavy/power tunes with high pitched vocals at times or more hard rockin’ ones with harsh vocals depending on the singer. This is something we’ve heard a thousand times before… moreover, it doesn’t contain a huge heavy metal hymn… just some good & average songs in general. Only the heavy/power metal freaks will find this album rather interesting…
