Formed in 2000… they suddenly met success with the two albums they managed to release and then in 2005, they broke up. Some of us thought that it was forever and felt kinda relief but… unfortunately, they’re back with a new album which is… like the previous two and overall, it is offering nothing at all!

I do not know how and why they became so successful and made so much money out of nothing… but that’s a great example of how music business works nowadays; if you do not have what it takes to make it big… just the right promotion & advertising from a big label and you can actually be a Rock Star.

Thus, what are the guys offering us after the 7-year break? Well, just one of the same again… third rate AC/DC riffs (Angus & Malcom’s farts sound more decent than those pseudo-riffs), poor/childlike songwriting, a fine production (even though the kick-drum is a little bit higher in the mix) and a vocalist that sometimes reminds of the mighty Tampakis from Pania’s trash show! Wow, how much worse can you do than that? As for those wannabe Queen-like influences, I’d better not speak at all.

Yeap, I know some will say that this is a great album, how freak I am that do not like it, this music is fantastic and other “smart” things like that… but the truth is… do you honestly think that this band can or will be considered as a pioneering and influential one like other great rock bands… let’s say, for instance, AC/DC & Queen in 20 or 30 years from now?!

Ahh, by the way, the cover to “Street Spirit (Fade Out)” from Radiohead is probably the worst I’ve heard over the past 20 years… If you like to have another CD like a Frisbee just to play with your dog on the beach then… do not buy it… just borrow it and surely, they will offer it for free later! If you also think of getting it digitally, then just try to avoid those thoughts… they are extremely dangerous and they will hurt your wallet. Were they a satirical band... I take Spinal Tap, Steel Panther, Tenacious D & Anorimoi over them just any day… but if they’re not, then there’s something wrong going on here…

So, here's the mighty Tampakis live! They're so alike!
