Tantara will release a 7” vinyl called “Based on Evil” June 29th. The 7” will include the unreleased track “Court Justice”! It will be strictly limited to 300 copies and only available in certain online stores. More details to follow! Tantara will release a full-length album later this year so stay tuned!
Tantara heads out on the Norwegian tour “Thrash ‘Till Death Tour 2012” with Forgery and Harm in October. The kick off party takes place the 19th of May at Gamla in Oslo where more tour dates will be revealed!

Tantara is a young Norwegian Thrash Metal band, mainly from Vestfold. The band saw the light in September ‘09 when drummer Stian Sannerud and rhythm guitarist Fredrik Bjerkø decided to take their “talent show” project to a new level. The two band mates recruited Per Semb as their lead guitarist whom they had played with before. In April 2011 the Swedish bass-virtuoso Max Warnby joined Tantara after an impressing performance at the band’s latest gig where he played as a stand in.
Tantara’s influences consist mostly of old school thrash metal bands like Heathen, Anthrax, Exodus, Megadeth, Slayer, Nuclear Assault, Vio-lence and Metallica. In August 2010 Tantara recorded their first EP, which was released later the same year. Tantara hit the studio in July 2011 to record their first full-length album with producer Flemming Rasmussen in Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tantara is now ready to take over the world!
