Eagerly awaited by the public, keenly anticipated by their fans: following a hiatus of several years, London’s alternative rock quartet Sulpher surrounding Marilyn Manson/The Prodigy guitarist Rob Holliday has finalised a new album, whis is titled, “No One Will Ever Know”.

The album is scheduled for release on SPV/Oblivion in August 2018 and presents the recently reformed act more uncompromising, captivating and contemporary than ever before.

The first single release “Take A Long Hard Look” is out now. Watch the video below.

The band stated:
“Our brand new single and video for "Take A Long Hard Look" is finally out! We can't tell you how stoked we are about this and hope you dig it as much as we do”.

Rob Holliday (vocals, guitars), Steve Monti (drums), Andy Spillane (guitars) and Davey Bennet (bass) have allowed themselves seven years for their comeback album, which was recorded at London’s Winch Studios painstakingly and with a lot of love for detail.

On “No One Will Ever Know” Sulpher have dusted off and modernised their unmistakable signature sound consisting of rock, metal, a little electronica and dreamy shoegaze elements. Unconstrained anger meets melancholy toughness, atmospheric mental images meet a metallic dirtiness.

As early as the 1990s, Rob Holliday and drummer Steve Monti played together in the British electronic act Curve, before going on to work with icons such as The Mission, Gary Numan, Siouxsie Sioux (Siouxsie & The Banshees), The Jesus And Mary Chain, the Cocteau Twins, Laibach, Gang Of Four and Shakespeare’s Sister. In early 2000 they founded Sulpher.

Rob Holliday looks forward to his future collaboration with Oblivion/SPV: “Fantastic to be signing to a label that for many many years we have so much respect for, exciting times ahead with the SPV crew”.

Gero Herrde, label manager at Oblivion/SPV, is confident about the future: “I’ve known Rob and his management for many years and know that they’re real professionals who know exactly what they’re doing. That’s why I have no doubt that Sulpher will be a valuable asset to the SPV portfolio! Welcome to the SPV family!”...

Sulpher has also announced some new live shows in the UK and Germany.

Says the band:
“We are very excited to announce a few new shows in the UK and Germany! We’re making up for a lot of lost time so we hope to see lots of new/old faces at some of these gigs!”...
