After spending many months in the studio, melodic death metallers THE AGONIST will finally be unleashing their long-awaited third studio album, "Prisoners", on June 4th in Europe and June 5th in North America via Century Media Records. Produced by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) and mixed by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Suicide Silence, Dark Tranquillity), "Prisoners" picks right up where 2009's "Lullabies for the Dormant Mind" left off, with soaring melodies over complex metal passages that fans of thinking-man's metal can appreciate.
The band stated in the official Facebook page: "Due to circumstances beyond our control The Agonist have been forced to miss the first 9 dates of our tour with Kittie. We will be joining up with the tour April 19th in Winnipeg MB. We are deeply sorry to the 9 cities we cannot visit and will be working to come back in the future. We are so anxious to hit the stage ASAP See you in Winnipeg"!
