AvaGrace come at you with an instantly rewarding explosive concoction of stout alt-rock, complete with mouthwatering hooks and immense riffs. The fivesome have an original but massively accessible sound which has picked up a range of favourable comparisons panning from Sasoin and Underoath, to Dance Gavin Dance. AvaGrace set loose their debut album, “The Witching Hours”, on Friday 30th August. Prior to this, the band have just revealed a brand new single and video for the track, “Close to the Edge”. Watch the video below.

Hailing from across the South East of England, AvaGrace feature Chris Horton (vocals), Ben Goodey (guitar and vocals), Craig Matthews (guitar and vocals), Will Evans (bass) and Ashlee Green (drums). The fivesome pour their heart and soul into their music, resulting in a hard-hitting and commanding sound that is loaded with fiery riffage and epic anthemic choruses.

So far, the alt rockers have released two EPs, “Letter to Home” and “Earth, Wind & Liars”. Both records have greatly helped with AvaGrace’s trajectory and have helped them pick up widespread acclaim, most notably, from: Kerrang! Radio airplay, BBC Introducing coverage and TV play with Scuzz TV for the video, “The Beauty of Sleep”. The rising tunesters have also supported everyone from Lower Than Atlantis, Black Peaks, Mallory Knox, Dream State, and The Faim, to Dance Gavin Dance.

The shrewd combo are primed to rise again with the release of their stunning new album, “The Witching Hours”, which arrives this August. The record draws a prominent line in the sand, as it’s the band’s best work to date. The album was produced by Ian Sadler at Emeline Studios and mixed/mastered by Tim Kramer at Signal House Studios.

The band comment: “We feel the album showcases our sound and represents our progression. The songs are basically snapshots of our lives in that moment, the things we were all going through at the time whether it be relationships issues, addiction, depression and anxiety, as-well as having moments of clarity and overcoming those obstacles”.

AvaGrace plan to tour the album later in the year so stay tuned to their website for details.
