Naga signs with Spikerot Records and announces new album “Void Cult Rising”

Spikerot Records is thrilled to announce the signing of the Italian Blackened Doom monster Naga. The Naples-based three-piece is deeply grounded in the sulphurean atmosphere of their land and known to deliver a great amount of distortion, heaviness and nihilism. The band’s new album will be the third full-length after the fortunate “Hen” and “Inanimate” and it’s due to be unleashed in November 2019 under the name of “Void Cult Rising”.

Stoned Monkey signs worldwide deal with Argonauta Records

Born in Varese, Italy, in 2017, Sludge ‘n Doom Noise rockers Stoned Monkey have signed a worldwide record deal with Argonauta Records! Mesmerizing atmospheres, high pitched amplifiers, heavy soundwalls and a strong scent of the weed distinguish the experience on a Stoned Monkey trip: An unmistakable Sludge timbre mixed with the rhythmic-sonorous intensity by influences such as Doom and noisy Stoner Rock.

Sūrya to release new studio album “Solastalgia” on July 26th 2019

London sludge metal outfit Sūrya return with their sophomore album, “Solastalgia”, to be released July 26th, 2019, via Argonauta Records. The band’s brand of atmospheric post-metal is driven by solemn riffs and gloomy percussion.

Their music is equal parts the torrential heaviness of bands like Corrupted (Jap) and Neurosis, with shades of Amebix’s desolate crust and the heart-rending atmospherics of Wolves In The Throne Room.

Spotlights share new music video for “Xerox”

Spotlights, who released their new album, “Love & Decay”, last month via Ipecac Recordings, share a video for the track “Xerox”.

The video, which is shot from the perspective of guitar player Mario Quintero, is a nod to 90s alt-rock videos, with the band saying, “we love the way they didn’t take themselves too seriously and kind of make fun of those who do”.

Burning Gloom releases music video for first single “Nightmares”

Formely known under the flag of My Home On Trees, the well-respected stoner-doom band hailing from Milano, Italy, just recently announced the change of their band name into Burning Gloom and the worldwide signing with powerhouse label Argonauta Records. 2019 will see them celebrating their comeback with a new shining identity and sound, leaving behind the past and release their brand new album titled “Amygdala” on June 14th, which will definitely surprise and please both fans and critics alike!
 

Alchemical Wake signs worldwide deal with Argonauta Records

Hailing from sunny Sardinia, Italy, dark sludge and doom metal unit Alchemical Wake have inked a worldwide deal with Argonauta Records, joining the label’s eclectic artist roster among bands such as Destroyer of Light, High Fighter, Mammoth Storm, Ancient Vvisdom, Komatsu and many more high class acts!

Alchemical Wake formed in 2014 and released a first EP two years later. In early 2019 the band hit the studio to record their debut album, titled “Cassiopea”, due out this year on Argonauta Records.
