Avatar working on new album & taps Sylvia Massy as producer

Sweden's own Avatar have entered the studio to begin work on a new album this week, the follow-up to highly successful “Hail the Apocalypse” released in 2014, cracking the Billboard Top 200 Chart and debuting at #97.

“Every band makes a point out of saying they're pushing boundaries, but I see few who keep on challenging themselves the way we do”, says frontman Johannes Eckerström. “There is no formula, no cheapness, no shortcuts. We are once again embarking on a journey completely new to us”.

Doll Skin to support Metal Allegiance on West Coast shows in January 2016

Arizona-based all-female rock quartet Doll Skin to support Metal Allegiance, the all-star metal band consisting of a rotating cast of musicians, including members of Megadeth, Testament on Four intimate West Coast shows w/ Cage, to start off 2016. The West Coast run starts in San Diego on January 7, hits Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and wraps up in San Francisco on January 10.

Doll Skin confirmed for ShipRocked Cruise 2016

Arizona-based all-female rock quartet Doll Skin are confirmed for the ShipRocked Cruise 2016.

Doll Skin will be performing onboard the ShipRocked Cruise, sailing January 18-22, 2016, from Miami to Costa Maya, Mexico. Alongside bands like Five Finger Death Punch, Seether, Halestorm, Hellyeah, Helmet, to name a few.

Doll Skin just entered the CMJ Loud Rock Chart at #34. Their new EP “In Your Face” was released in North America on October 30th, 2015 and will be out in Europe due on December 18 2015, physical & digital via EMP Label Group/Cargo Records.

SOTO confirmed for Monsters of Rock Cruise 2016

SOTO, featuring vocalist Jeff Scott Soto is confirmed to play Monsters Of Rock Cruise. Jeff Scott Soto (Soto, Talisman, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) will also play on the MOR Cruise a show with Gus G. (Firewind, Ozzy Osbourne).

California metallers Huntress have completed their third studio album titled “Static” to be released via Napalm Records on September 25th, 2015.
