Angel - Risen

In all honesty, Angel did exist from 75-81. There were attempts to resurrect the band and compilations and the attempt to get the band restarted in the late 90s (albeit with a different lineup) even released an album under the moniker, which was fair in all honesty. Two decades later another album comes out under the name, featuring Punky Meadows and Frank Dimino and several musicians that have been with them throughout the years.

The New Roses - Nothing but Wild

I was a little confused on whether these guys were an offshoot of a British rock band, but a look online revealed them to be a German band, that’s been around for around a decade, touring hard and rocking quite hard as well, with a somewhat weird Southern Twang about all they do… maybe they’re South Germans :D (I didn’t go into which township exactly they’re from)…

Michael Kratz releases new single “My Guitar”

Hypnotized Records, in collaboration with Art Of Melody Music & Burning Minds Music Group, is glad to announce the digital release of “My Guitar”, new official single by Danish westcoast artist, Michael Kratz. The song represents the first studio collaboration by Michael himself & legendary American axeman Bruce Gaitsch (Richard Marx, Madonna, Peter Cetera, Chicago, Elton John, Joe Cocker, Lionville), who also appears as co-writer of the track together with Cormac Neeson.

Michael Schenker Fest - Revelation

I dunno what to make about Schenker’s Fest most recent effort. I mean while I pretty much liked “Resurrection” and I think it’s a nice enough thing that he can keep all his former vocalists in the arrangement, I think that releasing an album after every year, first the live then “Resurrection” and now “Revelation”, has made the songwriting suffer a little bit. I mean Schenker is himself and as long as he keeps himself dry he’s one of the best, there’s ever been, but maybe taking a small Sabbatical would be creatively rejuvenating.

Desmond Child – Live

There’s hardly anything that hasn’t already been said about Desmond Child, the “golden child” of a songwriter, responsible for countless hit tunes for the likes of Kiss, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Cher, Bon Jovi, Ricky Martin and many others… many of which topped the charts the world over.

Great Pacific Orchestra releases lyric video for new single “Time is a Window”

Great Pacific Orchestra has just released the second single from their upcoming album “Fragile Things”. The single, titled “Time is a Window”, represents at first glance the more upbeat side of GPO, but what begins as a rather light-hearted romp, develops later on into something entirely different as the song progresses to its massive end suite.

Scott Stapp live in Orlando, Florida 2019

First up to take the stage at the Hard Rock Live was California’s Sunflower Dead. This hard rocking band has been building steam with three albums that have been successively better than the previous release. Having toured with bands like Hellyeah, In This Moment, and Korn they have definitely learned from their tour mates. Having decided to ditch the makeup and theatrics that used to be one of their trademarks and concentrate on just the music proved to be a wise move as their latest release “C O M A” is a strong effort.
