Testament announces February & March 2020 European & UK Tour with Exodus and Death Angel

2020 is set to be an unforgettable year for British and European thrash metal-heads - three legendary pioneers of the genre have announced that they will be touring throughout next spring. Hitting the road will be no other than the Bay Area’s very own Testament, Exodus and Death Angel – who have all teamed up to bring the catchily dubbed “The Bay Strikes Back” tour to our shores!

Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2019 - Day 1

Since 2015, Bloodstock has grown incapacity, and this year’s event had its fair share of controversies. The most high-profile being the inevitable booking of their first metalcore headliner, Parkway Drive, at the expense of many enraged ‘true metal’ fans, as well as numerous band drop-outs beyond the organizer’s control, including the likes of Skeletonwitch, Code Orange and Dimmu Borgir (who they cancelled a day before their show).

Fateful Finality to release new studio album “Executor” on October 11th 2019

The stylistic focus of the thrash metal band Fateful Finality is unmistakable whereas their strong individuality and compositional cleverness is always surprising. Having been close friends since kindergarten Simon Schwarzer (guitar, vocals), Patrick Prochiner (guitar, vocals) and Philipp Mürder (bass) founded the band in 2007 together with drummer Mischa Wittek. Since then they have been pulling together, with full power and in the same direction.

Imagika releases lyric video for new single “Only Dark Hearts Survive”

Imagika is back with a new lyric video for the title track of their new CD “Only Dark Hearts Survive”.

The new 8 track album was mixed and mastered by Andy La Rocque at his Sonic Train Studios and is scheduled to be released September 13th, 2019, via Dissonance Productions.

With their first CD in nearly 10 years the band is excited to jump back in the game and give the fans a great dose of SF Bay Area Metal!

High Command to release debut full length album “Beyond the Wall of Desolation” on September 27th 2019

High Command set out on the warpath to create their debut full length and the heaviest work they have produced yet. “Beyond the Wall of Desolation”, incoming via Southern Lord on September 27th, 2019, is in the band’s own words, “five friends coming together to create the sonic equivalent of a barbarian horde”.
 

Freakings to release new studio album “Rise of Violence” on September 27th 2019

For some years now, these Swiss have been known as convinced and, above all, fully capable thoroughbred idealists. The thrash metal threesome with frontman Jonathan Brutschin have been completely confirmed again for their 2016 predecessor album “Toxic End” with a variety of fully enthusiastic to freaky reactions.

Also on stage, this could be solidified in addition massively - who was ever in the gigs of the Helvetic maniacs, knows about their powerful sweatdriver factor.

Acid Reign launch music video for first single “The New Low”

Acid Reign will release the first single from upcoming album “The Age of Entitlement” entitled “The New Low”.
