Sonus Corona is a progressive metal band from Turku, Finland. The band combines intense musical atmospheres accompanied with heavy riffs and strong melodies and relies on stellar songwriting. They say they have been heavily influenced by Haken, Toto, Tool, Dream Theater and Leprous.

The band released a new music video for “Illusions”, which is an all-acoustic track. Watch the video below.

The band is about to release their second studio album “Time is not on Your Side” on November 22nd, 2019. Today their eponymous single is released by Inverse Records.

Progressive thrash-metal group Sifting have revealed an emotional new music video for their latest single, “Enough”. The video was directed by Alejandro Fumero Gil on location in the Mojave Desert near Lancaster, CA.

The video tackles the dilemma facing many people today where we must work long hours to pay the bills and survive, versus providing the attention and emotional support desired and needed by those we are in relationships with.

Ark Ascent release music video for new single “Innocence Lost”

UK progressive metal band, Ark Ascent, featuring former Shadowkeep vocalist Rogue Marechal, current DGM bassist Andrea Arcangeli and Sirenia drummer Michael Brush, have released a new music video for the new single “Innocence Lost”, the track is taken from their debut album “Downfall”, which is set for release on September 27th, 2019, via Ascent Records.

I was busting my head, trying to remember why these NapolItalians sounded very familiar. I could not immediately put my finger on it, but then I sort of remembered, they been around since before the current millennium but they’ve not been prolific release wise at all, taking an entire decade to come up with a third album. So, while I was practically aware of them, I had presumed them MIA (missing in action), so it took me a few minutes to realize they were the same nice prog power that Frontiers has nurtured since the beginning.

ZW’s debut is a ponderous artistic album, which unites the two well-known musicians, who share mutual admiration for the first time in an artistic endeavor.
