Ye Banished Privateers to release new studio album “Hostis Humani Generis” on February 7th 2020

The savage beast from the north, Ye Banished Privateers, returns with their enthralling fourth album, “Hostis Humani Generis”, out on February 7th, 2020, via Napalm Records.

The new full-length is the most authentic of pirate manifests – with more than enough audacious atmosphere, sing-along hymns, folk tunes and foul rambling to secure the band’s unique position in the genre. These Swedish marauders of the sea take you through the ups and downs of pirate life!

Knasterbart to release new studio album “Perlen vor die Säue” on November 29th 2019

German folk rock collective Knasterbart have steered clear of all things golden and glamorous and chosen the hard life of a bunch of partying hicks instead: These seven dudes keep finding the stars in the gutter and have done so since 2012, churning out truly unique folk rock full of lewd humor, naughty daydreams and a healthy dose of self-mockery courtesy of musicians of Versengold and Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen!

The Quireboys live in London 2019

The room was filling up already, which can be unusual for the first band, Tequila Mockingbyrd. It’s great to see another kick-ass girl rock band on a big stage, always need more! Blue lights flooded the stage as they start to play. Their bouncy songs and performance was full of energy, making them the perfect warm-up act. You can see they’re having a fantastic time and love their music.

The Quireboys announce September 2020 London live shows and launch Hell Raiser Campaign

Hard Rock Hell (HRH) are global players in Live, Label, and Media – they manage bands, sign bands, promote bands, broadcast bands, stage & write about them – so it seemed natural for HRH to create a fund-raising platform the likes of which has never been seen before – and launch it with a truly unique campaign!

The Waterboys - Where the Action Is

I was reading a few reviews about this album, and one in particular stuck out. One from a newspaper, you know the 4-5 line ones, where you wonder if the reviewer even bothered listening to the album or just “googled” some and came up with some quote… the album was dismissed as sounding dated… in that case the band and it’s sizable audience must have been happily living out of the hip bubble for ages, but isn’t that what timelessness is?
