Astronoid to release new self-titled album on February 1st 2019

Astronoid, the Boston-based outfit who cemented themselves as one of heavy music’s most promising new bands with the 2016 album “Air”, release their sophomore full-length, “Astronoid”, on February 1st, 2019, via Blood Music.

The band is giving fans an early preview of the eagerly-awaited new album with a video for “I Dream in Lines”, below.

ELP Keyboardist Keith Emerson dies at the age of 71

As reported, by his bandmate Carl Palmer, on the official Emerson, Lake & Palmer FB page, Keith Emerson, founding member of ELP, composer and keyboard virtuoso, passed away on March 11th, 2016 at the age of 71.

Santa Monica Police confirmed to Billboard that Keith Emerson died of a gunshot wound to the head and his death is being investigated as a suicide.

The official statement is as follows:
“We regret to announce that Keith Emerson died last night at his home in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, aged 71. We ask that the family’s privacy and grief be respected”.

“All Burn” is the third studio work of the US duo, The Receiver, formed almost a decade ago. This is the first time that I come across this band and I was rather nicely surprised with its style and song arrangements.
