Dimmu Borgir and Amorphis announce Winter 2020 European co-headlining tour

The year 2020 is set to start with a roll of thunder! Today, Norwegian black metal force Dimmu Borgir and Finnish melodic prog metallers Amorphis announce a co-headline tour that no metal fan should miss. On January 22nd, this killer line-up will hit London’s Kentish Town Forum, as part of a wider European run. Throughout January and February 2020, the unholy Scandinavian alliance will haunt 10 European cities and also bring American post black metallers Wolves In The Throne Room along as support.

Ragnarok to release new studio album “Non Debellicata” on November 15th 2019

For over two decades Ragnarok have been giving fans their uncompromising take on Norwegian Black Metal, both in the studio and on stage, and now, the seasoned veterans, along with their label Agonia Records, are ready to reveal details of the band’s ninth full-length studio album. Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2019 - Day 3

After two days of unpredictable weather and slowly growing mud, the heavens finally opened on Bloodstock Open Air’s final offering of heavy to see Belgian death metal figureheads Aborted play the wettest set at the festival thus far. While the circumstances were not ideal for anyone, Aborted saw fit to do what bands performing at festivals ought to; play their biggest hits and some sprinklings of new material here and there.

Since 2015, Bloodstock has grown incapacity, and this year’s event had its fair share of controversies. The most high-profile being the inevitable booking of their first metalcore headliner, Parkway Drive, at the expense of many enraged ‘true metal’ fans, as well as numerous band drop-outs beyond the organizer’s control, including the likes of Skeletonwitch, Code Orange and Dimmu Borgir (who they cancelled a day before their show).
