Vaura to release new studio album “Sables” on April 26th 2019

The ever-evolving quartet Vaura follows up their 2013 album “The Missing” almost six years later with “Sables”, their most refined and contemplative release yet. Introspective and somber, “Sables” finds the band shedding most of its post-metal heaviness in favor of experiments with brooding kosmische musik and the more avant-garde elements of new wave.

Well, it’s been almost 4 years since your debut. What happened in the meantime and why did it take you so long to release your sophomore album?
 

State Of Salazar - Superhero

State Of Salazar made their breakthrough with the release of their debut “All the Way”, back in 2014. After that, it’s been about 4 years since we heard some new stuff from the band… and as the lead singer Marcus Nygren told me (read more here), there were reasons out of their hands that kept them away for such a long period.

Althea to release new studio album “The Art of Trees” on January 8th 2019

When guitarist Dario Bortot teamed up with bassist Fabrizio Zilio in 1998 to form Althea, the two initiators clearly envisioned a very special prog rock/metal project, which should have its own unique sound. And deviating from the standards it should be.

Immediately the two Milanese brought Marco Zambardi to the keyboard. Various demo tapes were produced, accompanied by the first live shows, which subsequently extended to many stages in Northern Italy.

London alt-rock quartet Thumpermonkey have unveiled their latest video “Tempe Terra”, taken from their phenomenal new album “Make Me Young, etc.”, which was released via Rockosmos on October 26th, 2018.

Arena release first ever video single “Poisoned” and announce Spring 2019 UK & European Tour

British rock quintet Arena have just released their first ever video single in their 23 year long career.

The single “Poisoned” is taken from their ninth studio album “Double Vision”, released in May 2018 via Verglas Music.

The single pays homage to loved ones lost to illness - Cancer in particular.
